I am a wife, mother of three boys, and aspiring novelist. When my sons ask me why I write I say, “Because I have all these ideas in my head, and if I don’t get them down on paper my brain will explode.” Of course, my youngest son’s response was, “Cool!” Gotta love kids! Anything creative is what I have a passion for: photography, music, dance, and I am an avid reader. I prefer romance and action/suspense with some romance thrown in for good measure. With any luck, I will walk into a Barnes & Noble and see my work on one of their shelves. Until then, I will keep writing so my head doesn’t blow up!

Politically, I am a Reagan Conservative and a rabid supporter of the Constitution.  The Founding Fathers had it right.  When it comes to religion, I don’t believe in it.  I believe in having a deep, personal RELATIONSHIP with my Creator, and with my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  Without Him, I would be sleeping beneath at least six feet of earth somewhere.  Sometimes I think that would be preferable to living in this crazy, messed up world, but I have faith enough to wait it out.  He has a plan for me, and I’m happy to play my part.  Besides, there’s enough beauty to counteract the ugliness, if one is willing to look for and appreciate it.
